This story begins in January when I received a frantic call from a young lady who had been in an accident a few days prior. She called me for some cursory advice on what she should do about the accident since she was hit by an uninsured driver who was on a suspended license. The next morning, the young lady calls me back. She mentioned that upon hearing my advice, she immediately went to the Emergency Room to get checked out. She informs me that the accident that she thought was not that severe had actually caused severe whiplash. In addition to the continuing severe headaches, she had begun to suffer nausea overnight and was diagnosed with post-concussion syndrome. She asked if we could meet to further discuss her options.
